Sun City with kids
April 24, 2016

Entailing supervised playgrounds and designated areas of kid friendly yet interactive activities, Sun City is one splendid destination for kids and adults alike. From Camp Kwena to the Gaming Arcade, to the enticing WaterWorld and huge playing space dedicated for kids, Sun City is no less than a little heaven on earth. Let us guide you to the perfect day out at Sun City.

Step in Camp Kwena with your children for endless entertainment following a supervised program that will keep your little ones busy for a couple of hours. If you feel like dropping your little one in safe hands, head on to Thula Baba that offers professional baby-sitting service throughout the day within Sun City.

Sun City holds plenty of water activities for kids. Visit The Valley of the Waves which is actually the most advanced water park. A number of pools varying in sizes are scattered throughout the resort and best of all they are completely suitable for kids. Your kids will enjoy the cool waves and swim around. Close to the lakeshore, there is an fascinating playground entailing mini cars, miniature golf, trampolines and much more fun things for the kids.

If your child is above 12, make him/her go for a horse riding excursion. Children can also enjoy playing limitless arcade games for as long as they want to. Don’t forget to visit the mini quad biking area in Sun City resort complex where the kids fitting in 3-12 age groups can test their driving skills on the mini quad biking track. Moreover your kids can try being a pirate and gear up for treasure hunting activity for hunting special prizes and stones.

Believe us or not, your little ones would definitely be delighted to see the Animal World. Gazing at different species and discovering butterfly world is truly mesmerizing for every child. This free experience is an opportunity for your children to gaze at the magnificent birds of prey along with several other small animals. Moreover, I would recommend you to take your kids on bumper boats and scenic steam train ride that runs through the resort. The main aim of bumper boats is to hit your neighbor while you are on extremely fun filled bumper boat ride. Moreover, catch the Stimela Train with your little ones to show them “Safari with a difference”. Witness the fabulous wildlife encounters with your kids that offers them hands on experience to learn and gain much knowledge about wildlife.

Pilanesberg national park

For the real safari experience you can head into Pilanesberg National Park. Situated basically just behind Sun City resort is one of the best wildlife park’s in South Africa. Probably one of the best and easiest places to encouter the BIG 5. Both are malaria free and easy to access. A bit further on is also another great game reserve called Madikwe.

I can certainly assure every parent that their kids would flash a big cheesy smile once they visit Sun City and Pilanesberg national park and indulge themselves in unlimited fun activities and adventures. Set your kids free and loose and they will love to explore the resort and will return back home with magical memories.

Book your adventure at any of these hotels here:

The Palace of the Lost City
The Sun City Hotel & Casino
The Cascades Hotel
The Cabanas Hotel

You can find more information about the resort here: Sun City South Africa

Now this street brings so much joy and supports diversity and it’s so much fun walking here. I never expected I would like Iceland as much as I do and it was never a part of my travel agenda, but I cannot wait to walk on this street again anytime soon!

Initiation. Probably the most important part in th Initiation. Probably the most important part in the life of Senufo men. Senufo people are known for their complex initiation rites and the male initiation is a long process that takes 21 years to be completed. It is the passage from youth to adulthood and consists in learning the social and spiritual secrets that turn a boy into a genuine Senufo man.

This dance is called Boloy and is known as panther dance, performed by the initiated. They show off their skills to the cheering crowds! What a show! 🐆
